This is another protest song that I wrote about the School Of The Americas. The SOA is located on the grounds of Fort Benning in Columbus Georgia. However, it is not maintained by the army, rather it's run by the DOD and the CIA.

The School Of The Americas function is to train Latin American military and paramilitary organizations to aid in the United States' proxy wars in Latin America.

Nicknamed the "School Of Assassins" by its detractors, the School Of Americas is responsible for training some of the most reprehensible figures in modern history including Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet, Manuel Noriega and infamous Salvadoran death squad leader Maj. Roberto D'Aubisson.

SOA graduates are responsible for the 1981 rape and murder of 4 American nuns in Nicaragua, the assassination of Salvadoran Archbishop Oscar Romero, the 1989 execution-style murders of 6 Jesuit priests, their housekeeper and her teenage daughter on the campus of Central America University, and the torture, rape and massacre of 733 civilians (mostly women, children as young as 8 months and senior citizens.)
